A making-of piece which documents the shooting of Bong Joon-ho’s segment of TOKYO!, a compendium of three shorts filmed in the Japanese capital by Bong, Leos Carax, and Michel Gondry. Dispensing entirely with interview footage, the film instead meticulously documents the voices and sounds recorded during the filming of a single scene, fully capturing the dynamism on Bong’s set while also wryly observing the director’s devotion to the monitor.
